Mr Alan Doyle, Chairman 

Alan DoyleAlan Doyle is the Chairman of Africa Pacific Capital. Alan graduated and worked as a geologist prior to joining a major international stockbroking company as a resources analyst in the mid 1980’s. He moved to a larger European-based brokering firm in the late 1980’s, prior to establishing his own corporate advisory company in 1990, Turnbull Doyle Resources Limited, with Malcolm Turnbull and Neville Wran. The company was a specialised resources advisory and investment banking firm that listed public companies and raised capital, as well as providing corporate advisory services to mining companies. Alan subsequently formed his own private investment bank, which was taken over by a South African bank and later sold back to management in 2001, at which time it was renamed Africa Pacific Capital.

 

Mr Stephen Turner, Director 

Stephen Turner is a Director of Africa Pacific Capital. Stephen has over 20 years experience in financial markets and for the last 15 years has specialised in the natural resources sector, delivering resource projects in Australia, South Africa, Fiji, New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands. He was a founding director of the Australian subsidiary of PSG Investment Group, then South Africa’s sixth largest investment bank, later to become Africa Pacific Capital in a management buy-out. Currently a Director of International Ferro Metals Ltd he is credited with establishing the company as a global leader in ferrochrome production. Stephen has an extensive network of business contacts and has raised equity capital in Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the USA. He is an Australian Chartered Accountant.

 

Mr Wayne Kernaghan, Company Secretary

Wayne KernaghanWayne Kernaghan is Company Secretary of Africa Pacific Capital. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Wayne has over 20 years experience in various areas of the mining industry. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Chartered Secretary. Wayne is currently a Director of Gulf Resources Limited, Bushveld Platinum Limited and Cullen Resources Limited (all ASX listed companies) and Company Secretary of a number of other ASX and AIM listed companies.
